Though graphics are best on PS2, they are still on the whole quite dated and the backgrounds of fights look particularly ugly. In addition to the classic fights of previous Tekken games, players can also take part in time trials and survival modes, as well as rewatching any of the character endings in the Theatre Mode. Tekken Tag Tournament started out as a 1999 arcade game, though the graphics received a considerable upgrade in the year 2000, when the game was added to the launch lineup for the PS2. Overall, it is the fourth installment in the popular Nancy-produced video game series. It is a sequel to Tekken 3, with there being some new gameplay elements added into the game.
